Integrated Development Planning

The Integrated Development Plan is the main planning instrument for a municipality and informs the Municipality's budget.

Final Approved Reviewed IDP for 2016-17

The final approved, reviewed Integrated Development Plan for the 2016/17 financial year was approved by Council at a Special Council Meeting on 27 May 2016.

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 53 (1)(c(ii) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act No 56 of 2003 (MFMA) that the Council approved the Budget, Budget Related Policies, final IDP, SDBIP and IMAP for the 2016/2017 financial year. In terms of Section 21(a) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 200 (Act No 32 or 2000) Prince Albert Municipality notifies the local community that the approved documents may be inspected at the under-mentioned offices of the Municipality during normal office hours. Registration of Interested and Affected Parties: SDF

Prince Albert Municipality, as part of their Integrated Development Planning process, will be reviewing and possibly amending their Spatial Development Framework. Stakeholders, interested and Affected parties are invited to register to be informed / comment on the draft Spatial Development Framework review and amendments. Please register by providing your contact details under reference "SDF review" to us by no later than 30 September 2016. Time Schedule: IDP, SDF and budget compilation and amendment

The IDP and budget is compiled annually and the SDF amendment should be aligned thereto. The time schedule indicates due dates and actions in the process.

Draft IDP and supporting policies: 17-18

The draft IDP and supporting policies such as the Local Economic Development Plan, the Integrated Waste Management Plan, the Air Quality Management Plan, and the Disaster Management Plan is currently available for public comment.
